death of a citrus salesman

from time to time i get to shoot something for the new york times. not too long ago they ask me to spend some time at some road side citrus stands in central florida for a story on how few of these stands remain in the area. here is what i ended up with.

after several long conversations with a close friend josh decided he wanted a change from cold northern winters and newspaper assignments, so he up and moved to florida to begin a new phase of his career as a freelancer. he has found that he can feed his soul while working on his “fluidity” project beneath the waves of the atlantic ocean while feeding the beast working for some great corporate and editorial clients. josh currently lives in fort lauderdale with his wife and cats. but he will make pictures for you anywhere in the world. also, he wants to be a pirate when he grows up. aaarrrggghhh.
